ChirpPal is an iOS app that helps parrot owners train their birds to talk through audio playback. The developer ("we", "us", or "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use ChirpPal.

1. Information We Process

1.1 Microphone Recordings

When you use ChirpPal's custom recording feature, the app accesses your device microphone to record audio. These recordings are stored locally on your device and used to create custom training content for your parrot. We do not upload your recordings to our servers.

1.2 Built-in Audio Content

ChirpPal includes built-in training audio courses bundled with the app, played locally on your device.

1.3 Subscription and Purchase Information

When you purchase, restore, or verify a VIP subscription, the related transaction is processed by Apple App Store and StoreKit. We do not directly receive your bank card information or Apple ID password.

1.4 Local Settings and Usage Data

To improve your experience, the app may store limited settings and usage data locally on your device, such as selected training course, playback history, custom recording metadata, subscription status, and timer preferences.

This information is stored on your device and is not proactively uploaded to our servers.

We use the above information solely for:

Providing audio playback for parrot training
Recording and managing custom voice recordings
Supporting subscription purchase, restore, and status verification

When you purchase a subscription, restore purchases, or verify subscription status, related data is processed by Apple. Apple handles order, payment, subscription, and device-related information according to its own service terms.

3.2 Local Audio Processing

All audio playback and recording in ChirpPal is processed locally on your device. Your custom recordings are never sent to any third party.

We do not sell your personal information, and will not share your information with unrelated third parties, except in the following cases:

To support subscription purchase, restore, and status verification via Apple StoreKit
As required by laws, regulations, or lawful requests from authorities

5. Data Storage and Security

We make reasonable efforts to protect the security of your information.
Custom recordings are stored locally on your device and can be deleted by you at any time.
ChirpPal does not provide a user registration system and does not maintain an independent user account database.
Most preferences, settings, and training data are stored locally on your device.

Please note that no internet transmission or electronic storage method is absolutely secure.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

Decide whether to grant microphone access
Revoke previously granted permissions in system settings
Delete your custom recordings through the app
Stop using training, subscription, or related features
Delete the app and its local data

ChirpPal is not primarily directed to children under the age of 13. If you are a minor, please use the app under the guidance of a parent or legal guardian.
